What is a champion?

Is it someone who runs fast?

Someone who can lift up others along with herself?

Someone who deserves a gold medal for being funny, big-hearted, or brave?

Is it someone who can endure a marathon of health challenges with grit and grace?

Is she a mother? A daughter? A sister? An aunt? A colleague? A friend?

The woman standing next to you?

Yes.

At AbbVie, we believe in the champion spirit of women. And we are here to match it, action for action.

For more than 20 years, we have been advocating for women’s health, listening, learning, and innovating.

We do it by collaborating from the outside in. Including many voices. Normalizing conversations about women’s health. Empowering women in their family planning through contraceptive choices. And delivering nonsurgical therapies to better address conditions like uterine fibroids and endometriosis. We also champion patients by building strategic partnerships. And advocating for health equity here and around the world. If it sometimes feels like an uphill battle, it’s one for which we are ready. Because we are champions of women’s health. Continuing our legacy of innovation and research. And advancing medical care for women.
